Jan 2012 Fund Raising
Dear Students and Parents,
Over the next few weeks we will be holding a club Fund Raising event to raise monies for badges for our students. Our plan is to hold separate events for both the Ballinteer and Stepaside Schools.
The event will be a “500 Punch Challenge”, this is where all students in both classes will be doing 500 Punches over the course of one class.
All students will be given a sponsorship card and are required to achieve sponsorship of €20.00.
Once all the monies have been collected we will hold the events and the Badges can then be produced.
The badges are being developed especially for Three Rock Kenpo, so we will be ordering them once everyone has handed in their sponsorship cards.
Fund raising is a big part of any sports club so it is important that the students realise that it takes a bit of an effort on their behalf. For any forthcoming competitions or seminars both nationally and internationally fund raising will be required.
Also fund raising will be a huge part of getting our students all of their personal Sparring Equipment, Kit Bags and Track Suits.
