Shauna Byrne

Shauna Byrne is an Instructor in our Junior Classes. Currently Shauna holds the rank of Senior Brown Belt and is presently in training for her 1st Degree Black Belt. Shauna started training in American Kenpo Karate in 2003 and over the years she has attended many seminars in Martial Arts and Kenpo in both Europe and America including seminars by 9th Degree Shay Paget, 10th Degree Al Tracy, 10th Degree Maurice Mahon, 10th Degree Tommy Jordan and 10th Degree Mike Pick.

In December 2010 Ms Byrne successfully graded for her Senior Brown Belt under 7th Degree Black Belt Mr Alan Corrigan, 6th Degree Black Belt Ms Freda Roberts, 3rd Degree Black Belt Mr Finn Ryan and other high ranking members of the AKI. Over the years she has represented Ireland in many International and European Competitions and has won first, second and third place in sparing and form divisions.
