Amy Byrne

Amy Byrne is currently an Instructor in our Junior Classes. Amy has recently achieved her Senior Brown Belt and is currently in training for her Black Belt. In 2003 Ms Amy Byrne started training in American Kenpo Karate. She has represented Ireland in many International and European Competitions and has won first, second and third place in sparing and form divisions.

In December 2010 Ms Byrne successfully graded for her Senior Brown Belt under 7th Degree Black Belt Mr Alan Corrigan, 6th Degree Black Belt Ms Freda Roberts, 3rd Degree Black Belt Mr Finn Ryan and other high ranking members of the AKI.

Over the years Ms Byrne has attended many seminars in Martial Arts and Kenpo in both Europe and America including seminars by 9th Degree Shay Paget, 10th Degree Al Tracy, 10th Degree Maurice Mahon, 10th Degree Tommy Jordan and 10th Degree Mike Pick.
