Dear Students and Parents,
We wish everybody a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
The Three Rock Karate Classes we will be starting again on
Tuesday 10th of January for Ballinteer and
Thursday 12th of January for Stepaside.
I would like to thank everybody involved in the day to day running of the Karate schools and I would especially like to thank Shauna, Amy and Ciaran for all the help they give in the Junior classes.
Student of the Month
“Student of the Month” is going really well and congratulations to all our students who have achieved the award. All the winners pictures are posted on the website.
Club Badges
The Club badges are presently being designed and will be available in the new year.
Fund Raising
Our first fund raising event will be a simple sponsorship event. We are going to use the money raised to get our club badges made.
We will be holding a “500 Punch Challenge” in the New Year.
(This will be a dedicated class in which all the Students will try and do 500 punches in one class)
Every student will be given a sponsorship form which they can fill out over the Christmas holidays.
We hope that every student will raise about €20.00.
Gradings
Congratulations to all our students who graded since September.
Early in the New Year we will be holding a couple of grading nights to allow our present Yellow Belts achieve Orange Tips, also there are a couple of White belts who should be grading for Yellow Tips.
Once again have a great Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
